AGROS is a key industry event for animal and fodder production professionals in Russia and neighboring countries. Thematic sections of the AGROS exhibition cover all types of professional animal husbandry, such as dairy and beef cattle, pig and poultry, goat and sheep production at all stages of the value chain.
To participate in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition on January 25 from 13.00 to 14.00 are invited: Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management Alexei Mayorov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Andrey Razin, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, member of the Committee on Agrarian Issues Sergey Lisovsky, heads of industry associations.
352 exhibiting companies from 26 countries of the world will present at AGROS-2022 modern equipment and machinery for keeping and feeding cattle, pigs, poultry, fodder production and forage procurement, as well as genetics, feed and feed additives, veterinary and hygiene products and others.
In 2022, AGROS for the first time will be held in two exhibition halls, one of which will house the Feed Solutions and Veterinary Products expositions. More than 60 companies will take part in these sections and will significantly increase the offer of AGROS for poultry and pig production professionals.
Along with the exhibition part, an extensive and multiuse business programme will traditionally await specialist visitors and industry leaders. Over 300 best expert speakers will discuss the most pressing issues in the industry.
"Sustainable agriculture development" is the key topic of the AGROS-2022 business programme. Within the framework of the plenary session "Sustainable agriculture in Russia. Prerequisites for Transformation", organized by the National Research University "Higher School of Economics", the Association "Technological Platform Biotech2030" and DLG RUS, as well as a series of other events, issues of sustainable development of agriculture will be discussed/
Traditionally, a significant part of the AGROS business programme is devoted to dairy farming. In 2022, for the first time, the exhibition will present a such extensive business content for professionals in poultry and pig production with the participation of leading Russian and international experts.
Veterinary medicine and nutrition are also important topics of the events. On 25 January, the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia will hold three events at once, one of them is the conference "Antibiotic resistance is a growing problem in raising farm animals".
The Federal Farmers Forum (FFF) is the premiere of AGROS-2022. On 27 January, 11 events for representatives of small farmer enterprises will be held. Also, for the first time, AGROS will host the All-Russian Congress of Agricultural Cooperatives.
The competition "Best at AGROS" pays special attention to innovative solutions in the field of animal and fodder production. The awarding of 28 winners of the Contest in the nominations "Best Product", "Best Scientific Development" and "Best Feed Solution" will take place as part of the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Business tour: On January 26, an excursion tour will be organized for specialists in dairy farming to one of the leading livestock enterprises in Russia - "Sovkhoz named after Lenin" in the Moscow suburbs.
