A record number of 14,016 professional visitors (a plus of 24% compared with the previous event) from Russia and further 43 countries attended the fair in 2023. One of the key factors in assessing the quality of the audience is that 54% of visitors hold senior or middle management positions, 82% take important business decisions or influence on them.

In total, 126 of 415 exhibitors were international – a strong indicator of the responsibility of foreign manufacturers and suppliers to agricultural producers, as well as the attractiveness of the Russian market and AGROS itself as the leading industry exhibition in Russia.

"It's a first time we are at AGROS and we really like it. We meet our existing clients and new ones here", commented Tamás Vizdák, Executive Director of Agrofeed Rus.

At AGROS 2023, a new section "Equipment for feed mills, grain processing and storage" was launched with great success. It has become an important part of the exhibition and a point of attraction for specialists from a large number of agricultural enterprises. The "Feed, Feed Additives and Veterinary Products" sector also expanded significantly, occupying a separate hall. Growth was shown by the thematic sections of genetics, equipment for feeding and keeping animals and poultry, milking, machinery for forage production.

"For the second year after the pandemic period, the exhibition not only exists, but grows. And we see that all leading companies providing services and supplying products for our needs are here", said Sergey Lakhtyukhov, Managing Director of the National Poultry Union.

Leading representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Russian professional associations took part in the official opening ceremony, after which 28 winners of the "AGROS' Bests" competition were awarded in the nominations "Best Product", "Best Scientific Development" and "Best Feeding Solution".

AGROS 2023 was held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the largest industry unions in the country, which also contributed to the organization of the business programme: all three days of the fair, professional events on a wide variety of topics related to dairy and beef cattle breeding, poultry and pig production, veterinary medicine and further important agricultural issues were held in the fair's discussion forums.

"AGROS 2023 impressed with its scale and saturation with modern Russian and international solutions, business activity and the number of exhibitors and visitors. This once again underlines the important role of the fair in improving business efficiency and overcoming the economic, logistical and other challenges that Russia's agriculture has been facing in recent years", commented Artem Belov, Managing Director of the National Milk Producers Union.

AGROS has taken a big step towards strengthening its status as an effective communication platform between representatives of the agricultural industry. In this regard, the organiser of the fair, Agros Expo LLC, was awarded the First International Dialogue Award of the "Agrarian Science" Publishing House for its contribution to the development of communications in the industry.

"With the strengthening of the Russian economy in recent years, our confidence in AGROS exhibition has increased. We participate in this event every year, taking the opportunity to meet with our Russian guests and dealers," summed up Can Kurt, Vice-president of Kurtsan.
