From 25 to 27 January 2022 in Moscow, at the Crocus Expo IEC, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and industry associations, AGROS International Trade Fair for Animal Husbandry, Breeding and Feed Production will be held. The official opening ceremony of the exhibition will take place on January 25 from 13.00 to 14.00 hrs.
AGROS is a reputable industry platform for livestock and fodder professionals in Russia and neighboring countries. More than 300 exhibitors from 25 countries of the world and visitors from more than 80 regions of the country are expected at the exhibition.
Exhibitors
The thematic sections of AGROS cover all types of professional livestock breeding, such as dairy and beef cattle breeding, pig breeding, poultry farming, goat breeding, sheep breeding and others at all stages of the value chain.
Leading global and Russian manufacturers of solutions for keeping, feeding and caring for animals, milking and cooling equipment, feed and veterinary solutions, as well as modern genetics will be presented at AGROS-2022. Exhibitors will present at the exhibition machinery and equipment for the production and preparation of feed, the removal and use of animal waste, as well as the seed material of forage crops.
In 2022, for the first time, AGROS will be held in two exhibition halls, one of which will be dedicated to “Feed Solutions” and “Veterinary Products” expositions. For the first time, 60+ companies will take part in these sections and will significantly increase the offer of AGROS for representatives of poultry and pig breeding.
Within the framework of the German collective stand, organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Germany, more than 20 manufacturers and suppliers will present their state-of-the-art solutions.
Business program
Along with the exhibition exposition, AGROS visitors traditionally expect an extensive and varied business program. 50+ events of various formats on the most acute issues in dairy and beef cattle breeding, poultry farming, pig breeding and other areas of animal husbandry, as well as in fodder production, will attract the attention of visitors.
The main topic of the AGROS-2022 business program is “Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex”. Within the framework of the plenary session “Sustainable Agriculture in Russia. Preconditions for transformation”, organized by the Higher School of Economics, Association “Technological Platform Biotech2030”and DLG RUS, as well as a series of other events sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex, its economic, sociological and environmental aspects, and issues of reducing risks associated with the livestock industry will be discussed.
Traditionally, a significant part of the AGROS business program is devoted to dairy farming. The events will be held by "SOYUZMOLOKO", FGBNU VNIIplem and the Association of Industrial Goat Breeding, "Center for the Study of the Dairy Market", "Institute of Milk" and other authoritative organizations and companies.
In 2022, for the first time, the exhibition will feature extensive business content - more than 20 hours - for representatives of professional poultry and pig breeding. So, on January 26, two hours-long international conferences will be held on the topic of innovations in the industrial poultry and pig breeding: management, technology, feeding and veterinary medicine, which are organized by Megamix Group of Companies and VIC Group of Companies. Also, for the first time in the framework of AGROS, the National Association of Turkey Producers will hold a Panel Discussion "Investment Attractiveness of the Turkey Breeding Industry". Professional education in poultry farming will be the focus of the panel discussion organized by the National Union of Poultry Breeders and the Russian Academy of Agro-Industrial Complex Staffing. The National Union of Pig Breeders and ANO "Institute of Digitalization of the Agro-Industrial Complex" will hold the Conference "Digitalization - an integral tool for increasing production efficiency."
Veterinary medicine and feeding are also important topics of the event. On January 25, the Veterinary Department of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture will hold three events at once, one of them - the conference "Antibiotic resistance - a growing problem in raising farm animals."
Federal Forum of Farmers is the premiere of AGROS-2022. On January 27, the business program will be especially interesting for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the agro-industrial complex. On this day, ten events are planned: on dairy farming - breeding and goat breeding, cheese making; poultry farming; beef cattle breeding; feed production; beekeeping; feeding, veterinary medicine and animal care; master classes will be held. The organizer of the seminar "Agritourism as a source of additional income for farmers" will be the Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
For the first time, AGROS will host the All-Russian Congress of Agricultural Cooperatives on the topic: "Agricultural cooperation is the basis for sustainable development of the agricultural industry"! Annual and general meetings at the AGROS exhibition site will be held by the National Union of Beef Producers (NSPG), RNO Agrocontrol, and the NGO Association of Holstein Cattle Producers.
AGROS Innovations Award
The "Best at AGROS" competition program pays special attention to innovative developments in the field of animal husbandry. Each year, awards recognize projects that are designed to support the profitable and long-term growth of the livestock industry, which requires continuous modernization of enterprises through the introduction of advanced technologies and processes. This year there was a new nomination for the Innovation Competition - "The Best Feed Solution". The awards ceremony for the winners of the Competition will take place in a solemn atmosphere within the framework of the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The Job Fair will traditionally work at AGROS. Graduates of educational institutions and specialists looking for new areas of activity will be able to post their resume here, and livestock farms and companies - their vacancies.
