The AntiKlos feed additive has a number of useful properties. In addition to its probiotic activity, the Bacillus species strain, which is part of it, has a significant beneficial property – antagonistic activity against the pathogenic bacteria Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium butyricum. The bacterium included in the composition is a mucus-forming bacterium. Mucus promotes rapid healing of wound surfaces in animals, apparently, it also has a beneficial effect on the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, restoring it. Bacillus species culture liquid contains a rich set of valuable substances: 17 amino acids, exoenzymes, vitamins B1-B6, A, E, trace elements, polysaccharides, fatty acids. When feeding feed additives based on this bacterium to cattle, the condition and appearance of animals improves, the safety of young animals increases, the microbiocenosis of the gastrointestinal tract improves, and the digestibility of feed nutrients increases.
